Dose vs research03
How do SciatiEase ingredient doses compare with research?
Only PEA lands inside a studied range. Lipoic acid, acetyl-L-carnitine and benfotiamine sit below the doses most trials used.
Herb rows show upper bounds, not real amounts.

Two sources04
Why do brand pages list larger SciatiEase ingredient amounts?
The brand's ingredients page prints larger amounts for four lines than the Supplement Facts panel does (SciatiEase ingredients page). We follow the panel.
The web page shows PEA 600 mg, R-ALA and ALCAR 300 mg each, and benfotiamine 300 mg. The panel shows 500, 250, 250 and 200 mg.

See packsVitamin forms05
Which vitamin forms does SciatiEase use?
SciatiEase uses active vitamin forms: riboflavin-5-phosphate, pyridoxal-5-phosphate, 5-methyltetrahydrofolate and methylcobalamin.
The amounts run far past daily needs. B12 is 1 mg, but only about 1.3% of a 1,000 mcg oral dose is absorbed (NIH ODS, Vitamin B12).
Each serving has 20 mg of B6. That is under the US upper limit of 100 mg, but above the European limit of 12 mg set in 2023 (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6). Skip other B6 products while you take SciatiEase.
Full detail sits on the B vitamins page.
Other ingredients06
What is SciatiEase made of besides the actives?
Besides the 12 actives, SciatiEase contains gelatin, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate and silica. The gelatin forms the capsule shell, so the product is not vegetarian.
These fill the capsule and help the powder flow.

Herb blend07
How much of each herb is in SciatiEase?
The exact amount of each herb is not printed. The four herbs share a 50 mg proprietary blend, which the law allows (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)).
Herbs are listed from most to least by weight, so the herb in place k holds at most 50/k mg. Feverfew holds at most 50 mg, passionflower 25 mg, skullcap 16.7 mg and oat straw 12.5 mg. More on the herb blend page.
Feverfew may slow clotting (NCCIH, Feverfew), passionflower can cause drowsiness (NCCIH, Passionflower), skullcap has liver injury reports (MSK, Scutellaria baicalensis) and lipoic acid may lower blood sugar (Linus Pauling Inst., Lipoic Acid). On a blood thinner, gabapentin, a sleep aid or diabetes medicine, ask first. Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed. See side effects.
FAQ08
SciatiEase ingredients: common questions
What are the ingredients in SciatiEase?
SciatiEase lists 12 ingredients per 4 capsules: four B vitamins, PEA, R-alpha lipoic acid, acetyl-L-carnitine, benfotiamine and four herbs (feverfew, passionflower, Chinese skullcap, oat straw) in a 50 mg blend.
What are the active ingredients in SciatiEase?
The main actives are PEA 500 mg, R-alpha lipoic acid 250 mg, acetyl-L-carnitine 250 mg and benfotiamine 200 mg per 4 capsules.
What is SciatiEase made of?
SciatiEase is made of 12 active lines inside a gelatin capsule, with microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate and silica as other ingredients.
Does SciatiEase contain turmeric or magnesium?
No. Neither turmeric nor magnesium appears on the SciatiEase Supplement Facts panel.
Is the PEA in SciatiEase 500 mg or 600 mg?
The label says 500 mg of PEA per 4 capsules. The brand's ingredients page says 600 mg (SciatiEase ingredients page). We follow the label.
Why does SciatiEase use R-alpha lipoic acid instead of regular ALA?
The brand chose the R form, the one the body makes. Most trials used regular ALA at 600 mg or more a day (Hsieh et al., Nutrients 2023), so 250 mg of R-ALA has no direct trial behind it.
