Neuropathy Supplement Protocol: Why One Size Doesn't Fit
There is no proven neuropathy supplement protocol that fits everyone, and a supplement schedule is not a treatment plan. Causes, medicines and doses differ. For SciatiEase, the label serving is 4 capsules, the sales page says 2 with breakfast, and the order page gives a month-by-month schedule. Confirm with your doctor, and never exceed the label serving without asking.

What is a neuropathy supplement protocol?
It is a written schedule for which supplements to take, how much and for how long. Many websites sell one, but we found no standard protocol that has been proven across causes.
Neuropathy has many causes. Diabetes is the leading one (NINDS, Peripheral Neuropathy), and low B12 and too much B6 also play a part. A schedule that suits one cause may do nothing, or harm, for another.
A protocol is also not a treatment. A supplement does not replace the care your doctor plans, and the label says it supports nerve health.
What schedule do the SciatiEase pages give?
The SciatiEase pages give two schedules that differ slightly. The label panel sets one serving at 4 capsules, and a bottle holds 120.
| Source | What it says | Bottle lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Supplement Facts panel | Serving is 4 capsules | 30 days |
| Sales page (SciatiEase sales page) | 2 with breakfast; 2 more with dinner for more | 60 days at 2 a day |
| Order page (SciatiEase order page) | Months 1 to 3: 2 morning and 2 afternoon; after month 3: 1 and 1 | 30 days, then 60 days |
The label images we have show the panel and the front, not the directions. Check the printed directions on your own bottle. Our how to use page walks through the timing.
Should you take more than the label serving?
No, not without asking. The order page suggests doubling to 4 plus 4 if results are slow within 14 days. That is twice the label serving.
The reason to wait is B6. The label already has 20 mg per serving, and the European safety agency set a limit of 12 mg a day (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6). Doubling would push B6 further over that limit.
Ask your doctor before taking more than the label serving. Do not add another B6 product.

FAQ01
Quick answers on neuropathy supplement schedules
How long should someone take a neuropathy supplement?
There is no proven length. Trials ran from a few weeks to years, depending on the ingredient. Set a review date with your doctor, such as day 30, and decide then whether to continue (Stracke et al., BENDIP 2008).
Can I take all my capsules at once?
The pages we read split the capsules between morning and a later meal, not one dose. Check your bottle's printed directions, and ask the order desk if they differ from the web pages.
Does taking vitamins with food change the plan?
It can. Some products are directed with a meal, and alpha lipoic acid is absorbed better on an empty stomach (Linus Pauling Inst., Lipoic Acid). Follow your bottle directions, and ask your pharmacist if you are unsure.
