Is SciatiEase Gluten Free? Allergens and Capsule Shell
Is SciatiEase gluten free? We cannot confirm it. The label images we have show no gluten-free statement, and the formula includes an oat straw extract. The capsule shell is gelatin, so it is not vegetarian. If you have celiac disease, ask the order desk and your doctor before you order.

Is SciatiEase gluten free?
We cannot say that SciatiEase is gluten free. The label images we have show the front and the Supplement Facts panel. They show no gluten-free statement and no allergen panel.
No gluten-free statement is not the same as a gluten warning. It means we have no proof either way. The brand has not told us, and we will not guess.
| Part of the capsule | On the label | Gluten note |
|---|---|---|
| Capsule shell | Gelatin | Animal-based; not vegetarian |
| Fillers | Microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate, silica | No gluten claim on the label |
| Oat straw extract 4:1 | Inside the 50 mg herb blend | Oats can pick up gluten in processing |
| Vitamins, PEA, other nerve nutrients | Listed with amounts | No gluten claim on the label |
Does the oat straw in SciatiEase contain gluten?
Oats do not contain wheat gluten themselves, but they are often grown, milled or shipped near wheat, barley and rye. That is why people with celiac disease look for oats that are certified gluten free.
Oat straw is the green plant top of the oat plant. In SciatiEase it is an extract inside the 50 mg herb blend, at most 12.5 mg per 4 capsules. Oat herb is accepted in Europe on the basis of traditional use (EMA, Oat herb (Avenae herba)). That source does not discuss gluten.
A small amount is not a guarantee. People with celiac disease can react to very small amounts of gluten. Our ingredients page describes each herb in the blend.
What else should you check for allergies in SciatiEase?
Check the gelatin shell, the herb blend and the fillers. The shell is gelatin, which comes from animals, so the product is not vegetarian.
Feverfew belongs to the daisy family, and people allergic to ragweed may react to it (NCCIH, Feverfew). That is an allergy warning on a different plant family from gluten, and it is easy to miss.
The label images we have do not include the directions or warnings. Your bottle may show an allergen statement we could not read. Check it first.

FAQ01
Quick answers on SciatiEase and allergens
Is SciatiEase vegan or vegetarian?
No. The capsule shell is gelatin, which is made from animals, so SciatiEase is not vegetarian and not vegan. The label lists gelatin first under other ingredients. If you avoid animal products, this product does not fit.
Does SciatiEase contain wheat, soy or dairy?
The label lists gelatin, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate and silica as other ingredients. It shows no wheat, soy or dairy there, but we have not seen an allergen panel. Ask the order desk to confirm before you order.
Who can tell me if my SciatiEase lot is gluten free?
Only the maker can say for your lot. Call the order desk at the number on your order email and ask for written confirmation. Our website inbox cannot see orders. Share the answer with your doctor if you have celiac disease.
