Is SciatiEase Approved by the FDA? How Supplements Are Regulated
No, SciatiEase is not approved by the FDA, and no dietary supplement can be. FDA does not approve supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold. The maker is responsible for meeting safety rules. The brand's claim of approved facilities is also wrong, because FDA does not approve facilities.

Is SciatiEase approved by the FDA?
No, SciatiEase is not approved by the FDA. It is sold as a dietary supplement, and FDA cannot approve supplements for safety or effectiveness before they reach shelves (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements).
The same is true for every supplement. A bottle that says otherwise is using a word it cannot back up.
| Question | Dietary supplement | Prescription drug |
|---|---|---|
| FDA approval before sale | Not possible | Required |
| Who proves safety | The company that sells it | The company, reviewed by FDA |
| May claim to treat a disease | No | Yes, if approved |

What does the SciatiEase about page claim about the FDA?
The about page claims "FDA-Approved and GMP-Certified facilities" and names no certifier. That wording is misleading.
FDA does not approve facilities, and it warns that a claim of an approved facility means little (FDA, Hidden Ingredients). FDA also says that registration with the agency does not mean approval (FDA Brief, Registration certificates).
GMP means good manufacturing practice, a set of rules for making products. A company can follow those rules, but a claim needs a named auditor and a report. We found neither. Our testing and quality page shows what proof would look like.
This does not prove the capsules are unsafe. It shows the marketing says more than it can show.
What does the FDA statement on the SciatiEase label mean?
The standard supplement statement says the claims "have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration." It means FDA did not review the wording on the front of the bottle.
The front says "Supports Nerve Health" and "Supports Daily Comfort." These are structure and function claims. They are not claims that the capsules treat sciatica, and the FTC expects any health claim to rest on solid human trials (FTC, Health Products Compliance).
A printed statement does not prove how a capsule was made or tested. Only a lab report for your lot can do that, and none is published for SciatiEase.

See packsHow can you judge a supplement when FDA does not approve it?
You judge a supplement by what you can check yourself. Four habits cover most of it.
- Read the full Supplement Facts panel and compare amounts with studied doses.
- Ask for a lab report that names the lot and the lab.
- Be wary of any bottle that claims approval, proof or an endorsement without naming a source.
- Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every supplement you take.
If a capsule causes a bad reaction, stop taking it and tell your doctor. FDA accepts reports of bad reactions. Keep taking prescribed medicine; a supplement is not a substitute for it.

FAQ01
Quick answers on FDA and SciatiEase
Does FDA inspect the factory that makes SciatiEase?
We could not confirm that. FDA does not approve supplement facilities, and the brand names no factory or auditor. A claim of an inspection needs a report or a named certifier. Ask the order desk which facility made your lot.
Why does the SciatiEase label say FDA has not evaluated it?
That statement is standard on supplements. It tells you FDA did not review the front-of-bottle claims. The maker is responsible for safe, truthful labeling, but nobody at FDA signs off on the bottle first.
Is a registered facility the same as an approved one?
No. FDA states that registration and listing do not mean approval or clearance. Some firms print registration papers with the FDA logo to imply approval. Treat any such certificate as a prompt to ask for real test reports.
